It's Episode Eighteen of Moviefraud, in which Josh and Joey a) fight each other like Marines and robot aliens in discussing Battle L.A.; b) welcome guest host Emily Frankie into their dark forest to talk about Catherine Hardwicke's Red Riding Hood, starring Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman; c) coerce Emily to stay in said forest and review 2005's Mutual Appreciation as part of the Moviefraud Mumblecore Moment; and d) end the show with an escape into the Eden of writer-director Terrence Malick, with Days of Heaven (1978), starring Richard Gere, and The New World (2005), starring Colin Farrell.

A big thank you to Emily for being on the show!

March Moviefraud Mumblecore Madness! Josh and Joey inspect not one, but two mumblers on Episode Seventeen: Aaron Katz's latest caper, Cold Weather, as well as the Joe Swanberg/Greta Gerwig relationship vehicle, Nights and Weekends. This week's Co-Host Challenge brings you Stolen Kisses, Truffaut's 1968 French New Wave film; the Oscars are discussed, with intermittent disgust; and to close the show, Josh reviews I Am, the new existentialist documentary by director Tom Shadyac. As Joey would say: BOOM.

Music: John Vanderslice - “Sea Salt”/ Smith Westerns - “Weekend” / moe. - “Wind it Up”
